In the natural area of Horsterwold, along the shores of Nuldernauw, lies Scouting Estate Zeewolde. On the grounds, both scouts and non-scouts camp on sheltered fields inland in the forest or outside along the water. The focus here is on engaging in challenging outdoor activities and experiencing new adventures. Wandering through the vast forests of Horsterwold, embarking on a sailing hike to Scout Center Harderhaven, or exploring one of the islands in the border lakes—these are just a few of the possibilities. Additionally, a visit to Walibi, Amsterdam, or Lelystad is also an option!

Scouting Estate Zeewolde is an official Label Terrain of Scouting Netherlands. Label Terrains meet the requirements set by Scouting Netherlands, including sufficient space, areas for social interaction, opportunities for scouting activities, and accessible nature in the surroundings. Furthermore, Scouting Estate Zeewolde is also SCENES certified—a sustainability certification for scouting grounds. More information about sustainability and Scouting Estate Zeewolde can be found on the sustainability page.

There are camping fields for groups ranging from six to sixty campers, each with its own fire pit. The grounds accommodate both those who wish to camp for a night and those who simply want to spend a day recreating in the beautiful nature. Walking, mountain biking along designated trails, boating, and cycling—everything is possible at Scouting Estate Zeewolde! The estate is freely accessible.

On June 13, 2015, Scouting Estate Zeewolde was inaugurated by Queen Maxima, the patroness of Scouting Netherlands. In addition to camping, Scouting Netherlands uses the grounds for its national activities, such as Nawaka (national water camp), the National Jamboree for youth members, and the Scout-In for volunteers.
