We would like to welcome you to Scouting Estate Zeewolde. Together with other visitors you will spend the night in one of the most beautiful Scouting areas in the Netherlands. We think it is important that you have a pleasant and safe stay. That is why there are a number of rules. We would like to ask you to share this with everyone in your group .
Arrival and departure
- Please report to the service staff upon arrival. The service staff, who can be found in the Adventure House in the middle of our estate, will be happy to show you around Scouting Estate Zeewolde. You will receive information about what to do in the event of an emergency, the most important telephone numbers and addresses of all kinds of useful facilities in the area.
- Scouting estate Zeewolde is obliged to keep a night register. That is why we would like to receive a list of names of the members of your group present upon arrival. Use the format you received with your reservation.
- Motorized traffic is allowed to a limited extent on Scouting Estate Zeewolde. Loading and unloading of luggage and other material is possible. You can park in the parking lot. You can push any trailers to your site or accommodation and remain there. Between the hours of 10pm and 8am the gate will only be opened for emergies.
- There is plenty of parking, but if you come with several buses or trucks, please consult us in advance.
- Vessels can be moored at the jetty on the instructions of the service staff. Moor vessels properly and only run engines to move a vessel. Discharge the contents of the on-board toilet at the indicated location. It is not permitted to carry out maintenance work during the stay.
- At the end of your stay, we will check your site or building, the surroundings and any inventory. Therefore, make an appointment with the service staff in advance when you leave.
- When you leave, the final bill will be made, which you can pay at the reception in the Adventure House.
Your stay at Scouting Estate Zeewolde
- You are a guest at Scouting Estate Zeewolde and stay in nature. Pay attention to the peace and quiet for yourself, the environment and other guests. Make sure that musical instruments or radios are only audible to yourself. The site is quiet from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m. It is of course possible to play a night game, but please consult with the service staff in advance to arrange a suitable location.
- An adult supervisor must always be present with every group staying on the Scouting estate.
- We assume that you will stay independently as a group on the estate. You are therefore obliged to provide first aid yourself. When camping, make sure you have sufficient fire extinguishers.
- Accidents happen. Always report an emergency or doctor’s visit to the service staff.
- Together with everyone else present, we take turns cleaning the sanitary facilities such as toilets and showers, a schedule has been drawn up for this. Upon departure, you as a group are responsible for your own final cleaning. We provide the cleaning products. So easy!
- Bringing pets (with the exception of assistance dogs) is not permitted. This also applies to guests and during drop-off and pick-up.
- The service staff is happy to assist you. The service staff can be recognized by an orange tie and estate clothing. If you have any questions, please report to the reception in the Adventure House.
Camping on the estate
- Camping on the Scouting estate is only possible in tents. Caravans, campers and trailer tents are not allowed access unless otherwise agreed in advance. If this is exceptionally permitted, the overnight costs will be increased by “standing charge”.
- Wash dishes at the tent and only use biodegradable dishwashing liquid (available from the service staff). Make sure that you only throw away hot water when it has cooled down in the special washing up tubs.
- Electricity can only be used outside the buildings in exceptional cases and after prior consultation with the service staff. The use of aggregates is not permitted.
- Gas installations including gas hoses must be approved.
Activities at Scouting Estate Zeewolde
- Swimming is only permitted in the ‘Talaab pond’ and outside the dike in the Nuldernauw. Diving from the jetty or from moored vessels is not permitted due to the limited depth.
- Do you want to use pioneer wood? Which can! Please notify the service staff if you wish to use this.
- You assemble and dismantle the tents you use from us, under the supervision of the service staff.
Campfires and open fire
- At your camping field there is a fireplace for a campfire and/or barbecue. Use the fuel barrel and the fire wood that you can obtain from the service staff. Wood gathering is not permitted.
- Never leave the fire unattended and provide a bucket of water near the fire. Stoke controlled.
- In the event of prolonged drought, a burning ban can be imposed.
- Cooled ash can be disposed of in the ash container next to/behind the Adventure House.
Nature, hygiene and waste
- We like to keep the grounds beautiful. Do not dig, avoid damaging the crop, do not pick flowers and do not chop trees.
- You can use most of the site for activities, with the exception of the dike. No activities may be organized here.
- You can borrow burlap from the service staff to make structures on trees. Its use is mandatory to protect the bark of the trees..
- Do you have waste? Please return it separately and do not leave any waste on the site. You can hand in empty batteries to the service staff. You will take used game, camping and theme materials home with you at the end of your stay.
Liability
- The service staff is obliged to do everything for the good maintenance of the accommodation, the grounds and the camping. They therefore have the right to refuse entry to someone or to terminate their stay there if someone does not comply with the rules.
- Users who damage property of Scoutinglandgoed Zeewolde must reimburse the costs of repair work and materials.
- Users indemnify Scoutinglandgoed Zeewolde against all claims from third parties for compensation for damage of whatever name, insofar as that damage arises from or is related to their presence as a user.
Additional camp rules for the accommodations and other buildings
- Are you staying in the accommodation building? We will walk through the accommodation together, where you will check the inventory based on the inventory list. The basic principle is that you leave the building tidy upon departure and that all materials you have used are returned to their original place.
- Smoking is not permitted in and around the buildings.
- To keep the tables and chairs tidy, the inside furniture may only be used indoors.
- Buildings are equipped with a fire alarm system. This serves as an evacuation signal and also warns the service staff. In the event of a false alarm during the period of use, all resulting costs will be at the expense of the user. The costs per false alarm are at least € 200.00.
- The service staff has the right and responsibility to check the installations and fire safety measures present in the buildings.
- It is not permitted to consume drugs or excessive alcohol.
- A service staff member is present in the Adventure House 24/7.
Additional conditions for large groups and events
- In the case of events and large (group) camps, additional conditions may be imposed. We would like to discuss these events with the organization at an early stage.

- Applicability
- The booking conditions apply, to the exclusion of all other general terms and conditions, to the making of all bookings, as well as to all offers regarding the making of bookings.
- Deviation from the booking conditions is only possible in writing and on a case-by-case basis.
- The booking conditions also apply to all natural and legal persons that SLZ uses or has used when concluding and/or executing bookings or another agreement or when operating SLZ.

- If you do not want to make use of this booking, you must cancel in time. See the cancellation conditions for this.
- After receiving the booking confirmation, your deposit (50% of the total amount) must be credited to our account within 14 days. The total amount due must be received by us no later than 31 days before the start of your stay.
- By paying the deposit you agree to these conditions and our rules and your booking is final.
- If your booking is made within 31 days before the start of your stay, you must pay the total amount in one go and immediately after receiving the booking confirmation.
- Failure to pay on time gives us the right to cancel a booked camping field or accommodation. The cancellation conditions stated in these conditions then apply.
- If you have requested an optional booking, your option will remain available for a maximum of 14 days after our confirmation that the option has been noted. Make sure you let us know within those 14 days (via

- If, after determining the booking and the costs paid, SLZ is faced with increased government charges and/or levies, these will be charged even after the (partial) payments have already been received.
- To receive the discount for Scouts, you must provide your Scouting Nederland membership number. If no membership number is issued or your membership number does not appear in the membership file of Scouting Nederland, the right to a discount will lapse.
- When making a booking, you provide at least your full name, home address, telephone number, e-mail address, day and time of arrival and departure and the number of people.

- Booking of activity and play materials
- All information about activity and game materials is listed on the website.
- You can book this in advance or during your stay on our estate. Booking in advance naturally provides more clarity on availability.
- We use external partners for a number of activity and game materials. If not stated otherwise, you book and pay directly with the relevant external partner.
- You can arrange activities and play materials that you purchase from SLZ directly when you reserve your camping field or you can send an e-mail to:

- You will receive a customized booking confirmation based on your camping field and desired products.
- You pay the new invoice as written above under “Book and payments”.
- In urgent cases, for example regarding planning, we will contact you.
- You rent and pay for camping materials such as tables, benches, tents, etc., etc. for a minimum of 3 days.
- Changes to your booking of activities, play equipment and camping equipment

You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . - Activities, play equipment and camping equipment that we have arranged especially for you (externally) can only be changed and/or canceled if the external partners do not charge us anything. Otherwise, we will pass on the costs incurred to you.
- After a change you will receive an adjusted booking confirmation and invoice which must be paid in full 31 days before arrival.
- Please notify us no later than 31 days before your arrival via
- Final settlement
- The number of participants and number of nights specified when booking is also the minimum number of participants that will be charged.
- If the number of participants and/or nights is more than indicated when booking, this will be settled upon your departure.
- The final invoice will be drawn up before departure and you must pay all outstanding costs immediately and on site.
- If the settlement shows that there is a right to a refund, this refund will be made afterwards to the bank account from which the last payment regarding that booking came.
- We may ask you to complete a form for our administration and checks in the event of a refund. Only a completely completed form entitles you to a refund.
- All costs must be paid in € (Euros); preferably with a debit card payment.
- If we have to send the (partial) invoice, we reserve the right to charge € 25.00 for handling and administration costs.
- Cancellation
- If due to circumstances (part of) the booking is canceled by the tenant, the following cancellation conditions apply:
- In case of cancellation the following costs will be charged. This also applies to bookings made through a third party such as redactie.nl and wegaanopkamp.nl.
- Special circumstances: in force majeure situations caused by natural disasters, political conflicts, weather conditions, etc., changes to your reservation may be necessary. You will be informed of any changes before the start of your stay.
- Adjusting cancellations (add to paragraph 2):
In the event of cancellation, the tenant pays a compensation to Scoutinglandgoed Zeewolde. This amounts to: - In case of cancellation more than 3 months before the start date, 15% of the total sum (excluding tourist tax)
- In case of cancellation within three to two months before the start date, 50% of the total sum (excluding tourist tax)
- In case of cancellation within two to one month before the start date, 75% of the total sum (excluding tourist tax)
- In case of cancellation within one month before the start date, 90% of the total sum (excluding tourist tax)
- In case of cancellation on the day of arrival, 100% of the total sum (excluding tourist tax)
- You can cover this risk by taking out cancellation insurance yourself. In the event of early departure during the booked period, no refund will be made for overnight stays not enjoyed.
- If due to circumstances (part of) the booking is canceled by the tenant, the following cancellation conditions apply:
- Arrival and departure times
- You rent your camping field from 1 p.m. on the day of arrival until 12 p.m. on the day of departure.
- You can enter the bedrooms, kitchen and living rooms of the Adventure House from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival until 11 a.m. on the day of departure.
- If you only book for a weekend (Friday to Sunday) (outside the summer period), you can arrive on Friday evening from 7 p.m. and the latest departure time on Sunday is 5 p.m.
- Deviating times must be requested by e-mail from the bookings team (

- Additional terms
- In the case of events and large (group) camps, additional conditions may be imposed. We would like to discuss these events with the organization at an early stage. A separate appointment will be made for this and will be announced in the booking confirmation.
- Dogs are not allowed on the entire camping field.
- It is legally required to submit a “night register” upon arrival, stating at least the surname, initials and place of residence per person. This night register will be sent to you upon booking so that you can complete it in advance.
- A mandatory final payment for cleaning applies to the Adventure House.
- Depending on the time of year and weather conditions, we charge an energy surcharge.
- After using the Adventure House, you will leave this building “broom clean”.
- As a contribution to the so-called “deep cleaning” of the Adventure House, you pay a small contribution per person for the entire stay.
- All camping materials rented through SLZ have a rental period of at least 3 days.
- The tenant is obliged to strictly comply with all safety and traffic regulations applicable on the site. He also ensures that everyone who belongs to the tenant’s group and/or visits and/or stays with him strictly observes the safety and traffic regulations applicable on the site.
- Preference for camping field or bedroom
- You can indicate your preference for a specific camping field or bedroom when making your booking.
- We will try to maintain this preference as much as possible.
- We may not be able to meet your preference or have to change the confirmed camping field or bedroom at a later stage. You will be informed of this as soon as possible.
- Changing your camping field or bedroom does not entitle you to a refund or free cancellation.
- Interim termination by SLZ and eviction in the event of an attributable shortcoming and/or unlawful act
- SLZ can terminate the agreement with immediate effect:
- If the tenant, co-tenants and/or third parties do not or do not properly comply with the obligations under the booking conditions and/or permits, the associated information and/or (government) regulations, despite written warning, and to such an extent that, according to the standards of reasonableness and fairness, SLZ cannot be expected to continue the agreement
- If, despite prior written warning, the tenant causes nuisance to SLZ and/or other tenants, or spoils the good atmosphere on or in the immediate vicinity of the site and/or Adventure House.
- If, despite written warning, the tenant acts contrary to the intended use of the site and/or the Adventure House by using the field and/or accommodation.
- If SLZ wishes interim termination and eviction, it must inform the tenant by personally delivered letter. The written warning may be omitted in urgent cases.
- After cancellation, the tenant must ensure that the rented field and/or Adventure House is vacated as soon as possible, but within 4 hours.
- The tenant remains in principle obliged to pay the agreed rate.
- SLZ can terminate the agreement with immediate effect:
- Safety and general obligations of the tenant
- The tenant is obliged to adhere to the house rules and conduct rules applicable on SLZ and to follow the reasonable instructions of SLZ. SLZ will publish the house rules and conduct in a clearly visible place or provide them in writing. Reasonable instructions may be given verbally.
- The tenant is obliged to cooperate with reasonable requests from the SLZ in the context of its legal obligations regarding, among other things, safety, identification, food safety/hygiene and limitation of nuisance.
- The tenant must report cases of illness and/or doctor visits at the reception. Groups must provide sufficient first aid equipment themselves.
- Complaints procedure

Van plaats voor een kleine tent, naar dé perfecte plek voor een grote activiteit
Naast kamperen en spannende activiteiten beleven, kun je op Scoutinglandgoed Zeewolde ook Scouting grote activiteiten organiseren. Ons prachtige landgoed is namelijk dé plek voor alle grote Scouting events. Het tweejaarlijkse vrijwilligersfestival Scout-In, Roverway 2018 en het het nationale waterkamp met meer dan 250 zeilboten en 4000 waterscouts zijn hier mooie voorbeelden van. Naast Scouting events organiseren kun je op Scoutinglandgoed Zeewolde natuurlijk ook andere spetterende, rustieke events organiseren. Van een beurs voor outdoor producten tot de International Suydersee BBQ Contest: een event organiseren op Scoutinglandgoed Zeewolde biedt eindeloze mogelijkheden.
Grote activiteiten organiseren op de ideale locatie
Met de centrale ligging in Flevoland is het landgoed goed te bereiken voor doelgroepen die uit het hele land komen. Een event organiseren is daarom zeer geschikt op deze locatie. Daarnaast biedt Scoutinglandgoed Zeewolde het hele jaar door voldoende mogelijkheden voor spetterende events en uitdagende activiteiten. Events organiseren op een landgoed van 40 hectare geeft je hier dan ook meer dan genoeg ruimte voor. En als laatste – maar daarom zeker niet onbelangrijk – de bijzondere ligging in de natuurrijke omgeving van het Horsterwold en aan het water van het Nuldernauw zorgt voor een gedenkwaardige ervaring. Een succesvol event organiseren doe je daarom bij Scoutinglandgoed Zeewolde. Even weg van alle dagelijkse drukte en op avontuur in de natuur!
